Brooklyn High School (BHS) is a premier mixed-gender institution offering both day and boarding options. Located in Ntuusi County, Ssembabule District, Central Uganda, off Mubende Road, our school fosters students’ talents in both the arts and sciences, preparing them to meet modern world challenges.
BHS is dedicated to providing high-quality education for every child in Uganda, with special emphasis on girl-child education. We are committed to supporting children who are orphaned, affected by war and disease, or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our Board of Governors identifies and supports vulnerable young children across the country based on individual merit.
Partially owned by Brooklyn Intermedia UK Ltd. and managed by Brooklyn007 Ltd., BHS operates under the daily management of the School Administration, supervised by Mr. Sam Mbeera in Ntuusi, Ssembabule. We uphold Ugandan values and culture, promote inclusiveness, and respect local laws. Our institution is dedicated to maintaining high standards of discipline and academic excellence among both students and staff. We have strict policies to ensure the best educational environment.

School Aims & Mission Statement
At Brooklyn High School, students are encouraged to learn in a safe, friendly and stimulating environment. Lessons are designed to develop skills and interests so that the journey on the lifelong pathway of learning is established. Our teaching staff develop curriculum based on the needs of our students identified with support of Ministry of Education and Support and other partners through a dual curriculum. At the Heart of our vision are three keys: Student empowerment, a rigorous, engaging curriculum, and an environment conducive to achieving success. We aim at producing quality rather than quantity. We are based in a rural setting of Uganda, In Ssembabule District but our focus is global.
BHS aims at producing students of high class , able to confront the challenges of today, including climate change, Information Technology, Gender balance, and poverty and Good Governance.
